This show delivers on everything you would want in a holiday story ...and I so appreciated getting all those warm fuzzy feelings off-season. It was fun and optimistic. Christi’s sincerity and enthusiasm shines through this character and it would be impossible not to fall in love with her. Despite there being an overall cheery sheen, the writer does not shy away from bigger themes such as sexual harassment and the age-old Christmas lesson of gratitude. ... full review

The show was everything the good solo theater should be. Entertaining, honest, educational, emotional ...a real journey. Masterfully directed and beautifully acted, it would be impossible not to fall in love with Nicole, even as she struggles to fall in love with her self. Heather is an incredible solo performer. You know instantly that you are in good hands with her. Her character’s specificity and ability to choose just the right amount of just the right words to tell the story is truly a gift. The show is sneakily educational, hiding facts in clever dialogue, but also clearly painting the full picture of society’s judgment and opinions. It was witty and relatable - and masterfully tackles a topic that is inexplicably taboo with true grace. ... full review

Corina is a FORCE. She came out of the gate with energy and passion and kept up the intensity throughout. Her drive was infectious, her story is redemptive and her honesty took my breath away. At the end, she addresses briefly WHY she decided to tell this story, for herself but also to inspire others to reach for their dreams and to see beyond the limitations of the situation they were born into - and it felt genuine. She so clearly wanted to reach people with this story - and we all left uplift... full review

This show blew me away. Fiercely creative, incredibly revealing, hilarious but thoughtful. Both of these women have an incredible mastery of being concise. They chose every word, every movement, cleverly. While attacking two very different themes with intelligence, giving the audience a new perspective on feminism and death, it was also extremely moving. Awkward in the best ways, bold and quirky, the shows complimented each other perfectly. ... full review

This show was thoughtful, clever, educational without preaching, extremely brave and moving - but also managed to be entirely uplifting. I didn’t just get to learn more about Jannica, I learned about myself. She turns the mirror on to the audience and challenges us to look at our labels and assumptions. And I left inspired by her journey, which she masterfully made about broader themes of image and self-love. ... full review
