New Comedy Show “Diane, Diane!” Debuts at Hollywood Fringe Fest 2026
New one-person show is full of hijinks and humor from a bold new character that’s taking over Hollywood’s comedy scene.
What: The inventive new one-person comedy show “Diane, Diane! The Parole of a Lifetime” is premiering as part of Hollywood Fringe Fest’s distinguished 2026 lineup. Featuring Diane, a devilish lounge singer who is freshly out of prison, with her current lover and ex-husband Reggie on the keys, the 50-minute comedy show is full of lunacy, audience interaction, and the hits you know and love.
After spending some time in the clink, Diane found a way out (ratting on her cellie) and is determined to reclaim the spotlight! Using everything she’s got— pipes, sex appeal, wit, glamour, tales of torrid love affairs and a relentless desire to be seen, she will find her rightful place once more amongst adoring fans. Whether you’re a girl, a gay, a they or someone extremely important with a column, connections or cash, this show will be the crowning jewel of your evening.
Who: Directed and co-written by Natasha Mercado and starring and co-written by Elissa Luma. Luma has produced, written and starred in sketch comedy and improv shows across Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City and more, including the successful recent LA runs of “Work Bitch” and “Witch in the Woods.” In addition to performing on improv house teams at The Pack Theater, Shared Experience Studio and ComedySportz, Luma was once called “the cutest little baby” by Tom Selleck.
