The show that brings old timey comic books to life, COMICS READING COMICS will be joining the Hollywood Fringe Festival at Three Clubs in Los Angeles this June.
Who doesn’t love old superhero comic books from the 50’s and 60’s? You know, the kind with ads for X-Ray Specs and Sea Monkeys? Well, if you haven’t flipped through one in a while, it turns out they’re wildly funny — full of double entendres, strange sci-fi, and a surprising amount of sex appeal! 
An all-star cast of stand up comedians and sketch artists will perform these unbelievably funny stories word-for-word before your very eyes, complete with handmade props, silly costumes and audience interaction!

Our incredible cast includes Dan Mintz (voice of Tina Belcher on Bob’s Burgers,) Dana Gould (Hanging with Dr. Z, The Dana Gould Hour,) Stanzi Potenza, Colin Stanley, Serra Naiman and more! 

The creative team behind Comics Reading Comics includes Nick Malis, head writer/executive producer of Tosh.0, a writer on Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Howard Stern Show, and more! He does stand up all over the country and  also runs the popular Instagram account Out of Context Archie Comics; and Shoshanna Green, who’s toured the country as one half of the vaudeville team Sidetracked, is a member of the nihlist children’s band Pyropodes, a writer and performer for the sketch team Corduroy, and a genuine Shakespearan actress at Theatricum Botanicum. Shoshanna also makes all the incredible cardboard props you’ll see in the show. 
Performances will take place at Three Clubs located at 1123 N Vine St, Hollywood, CA. Performance dates are June 7th, 7:30pm, June 14th, 7:30pm & June 22nd, 9:30pm.
