Fringe & The Entertainment Industry

For producers, promoters, scouts, agents, managers, venues, festivals, and more.

The Hollywood Fringe Festival provides members of the arts industry with the opportunity to discover some of the most exciting new actors, directors, playwrights, performers, and other artists that Los Angeles has to offer – all contained within a square mile of Hollywood.

How to Participate

  • Become an accredited Arts Industry member. Our accreditation process is both quick and simple. Applications can be completed beginning May 1, 2012. We are open to industry members from all disciplines who have the potential to work with and provide opportunities for Fringe artists. Accreditation entitles you to assistance from the Hollywood Fringe Arts Advisory Committee in selecting performances and events that might best serve you and your organization and grants you access to various other Arts Industry services and events, including our Industry Brunch.
  • Receive ticketing assistance. Accreditation does not necessarily grant complimentary admission or discounted tickets to Fringe performances, as this is at the discretion of the individual participants. However, accredited Arts Industry members have access to our complimentary ticket request system built-in to our website. Arts Industry members select the show date and time, click “request tickets”, and an e-mail is sent directly to the artist alerting them of this request. The Hollywood Fringe Staff will personally follow-up on any unfulfilled requests.
  • Attend our Arts Industry Brunch. This event is exclusive to accredited Arts Industry members, the Arts Industry Advisory Committee, and the Hollywood Fringe Staff. This is an opportunity to meet and network with fellow industry members and compare notes on different shows and events. This event, fully catered and with complimentary breakfast coffee and cocktails, will be followed by a special Fringe [Film] screening for Arts Industry members.
  • Discover new talent. The Hollywood Fringe is an incredible container for young artists and arts companies. Those who flock to the Fringe are of all different ages, lifestyles, and disciplines – participants run the gamut from students to seasoned professionals, all of whom are using the Hollywood Fringe to try something new. Many Hollywood Fringe productions have had extended runs and further development at other theaters in Hollywood and beyond – the Long Beach Playhouse, South Coast Repertory, the Neo-Futurists (Chicago, IL), The Texas Theatre (Oak Cliff, TX), and Access Theatre (NY) have all hosted productions originated at the Hollywood Fringe Festival.
  • Access artist information. Accredited Arts Industry members can request contact information and introductions for all Hollywood Fringe participants.
