Bad Ladder is an edgy, versatile new space located right next door to The Hobgoblin Playhouse in the historic Sunset Square district. With a huge welcoming lobby, parking lot, and two unique spaces, Bad Ladder is a great new addition to the Hollywood Fringe!
Bad Ladder has two different spaces:
The Black Box Theater:
The Black Box is a 60 seat theater with raked modular seating, a 22 X 20 stage, sound baffling wainscoted walls and a large screen. The back wall is also equipped with curtains that can cover the back wall if you’d like a more traditional theater feel. This space is great for shows of all sizes – solo shows, large cast ensembles, stand up comedy, magic and more! Fitted with moving lights and a surround sound, this space has something for everyone.
The Green Screen Studio
This Studio is an intimate and unique space that seats up to 30. Used as a green screen filming studio by day, this space will convert to a live performance space during Fringe and will give artists the option to cover the green walls with black curtains, or keep it an eclectic green screen space. With basic lighting and sound, this space is the perfect intimate setting for solo shows and two handers.
