The Matrix is a legendary space in Los Angeles theatre history and has been the home of many famous productions over its 54 years of operation. Located on Melrose Ave, it is walking distance to numerous bars, restaurants and a Starbucks, and is surrounded by ample street parking. Currently, the Matrix is the home of Rogue Machine, one of the top theatre companies in LA.

Tucked above Rogue Machine’s main stage, the 40-seat Henry Murray Stage (the whole room is 25′ × 15′) offers a rare kind of theatrical environment—one that demands precision, presence, and fully realized work.
