Joana Knezevic
Joana Knezevic got her MFA in acting in The California Institute Of The Arts this May. She is an actress, director and visual artist from Serbia where she got her BFA in acting in The Academy of Performing Arts in Belgrade and won the prize as the best student of her generation. Joana has been a part of the French company based in Toulouse for three years. Her credits include performances and movies: The Hair;Revolution Master Class; The Little Prince; To be or not to be a woman; The Skinning; The Parade; Next to me; Vulnerable; The Dead Of Feelings; You Are Not alone)
At CalArts she had her debut in Salome playing a role Herodias, directed by M.Alvarez. (MOD theater)
In the last three years she directed three shows and one performance :
The Kiss Off ( Spain) , The Children of The Night (Serbia), Fat Girl Just A Girl ( the USA); Apartment34 (Cuba)
Joana is very thankfu to director Jonghee Woo for the opportunity to be part of the Dream Waker company in the Hollywood Fringe Festival 2018. and chance to play Mrs.Hellen Alving in Ibsen’s “Ghosts”
