Todd Merrill
“Resa” has been a labor of love for me since 1987. As an actor at the North Carolina School of the Arts, we were required to do a thesis project – writing a full-length play. I reconnected with my Swedish grandmother (in her 90s at the time) and with her guidance and mentorship brought this piece into the spotlight were it belongs. I’m grateful to the Burglars of Hamm for providing me with the paint and canvas to share this exquisite piece of art.
