Perris McCracken

Perris McCracken is a Los Angeles native who grew up in an artsy neighborhood called
Leimert Park. Thanks to her amazing Mom who discovered Perris’ love for dance and
performance, she began intense training at 7 years old. Throughout middle and high
school she was known as “Perris the ballerina”. She used those years of training,
dedication, and discipline to graduate Cum Laude one year early from Loyola
Marymount University with a BA in Fine Arts.

Perris began her professional career dancing for notable companies such as Lula
Washington Dance Theatre and as a Principal with City Ballet of Los Angeles. Perris
explored dance on camera earning TV & Film credits that include performing Sleeping
Beauty’s Lilac Variation on Germany’s Next Top Model and dancing as a ballet double in
Scary Movie 5. In New York, Perris trained in intensive programs with Dance Theatre of
Harlem and Complexions.

Acting training includes: Playhouse West, Warner Loughlin Studios, John Ruskin and currently private coaching with Charles Carpenter.

Perris currently freelances as a Contemporary Ballet Dancer and Actress.
Perris most enjoys teaching children ballet at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy and
spending time with her toddler nephews, Asher and Landon.
