Emily DeRenzis

Emily’s love of the stage started at a young age when she was cast as Spider Number 3 in a children’s production of Charlotte’s Web. The love carried through for the rest of her childhood and into adulthood when she moved to New York City and studied theatre at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. After a few years in New York, she headed west to LA and continued to study and perform. Some of her favorite roles have been with the group Books with Feet, where she got to explore the minds of great writers and play wonderful parts such as Marion in ‘A Perfect Day for Bananafish’, Bernice in ‘Bernice Bobs Her Hair’, Dora in ‘Weep for Years to Come’ and Miss Furr in ‘Miss Furr and Miss Skeene.’ She is currently playing Carolina in Colette Freedman’s wonderful play ‘Sister Cities.’
