Jordan is an award-winning playwright whose plays have been performed Off Off Broadway and seen throughout SoCal. He recently received the Erica Bennett Playwriting Prize for his play Kvetcher in the Wry, presented at OC-centric New Play Festival. His play Hollywood is a State of Mind was produced by California Artists Radio Theatre and broadcast on KPFK. His plays have been seen at Chance Theater, Costa Mesa Playhouse, Newport Theater Arts Center, Laguna Beach New Play Festival, Towne Street Theatre, Vanguard Theatre Ensemble, STAGEStheatre, Chapman University, Rude Guerrilla Theater, South Coast Rep, and further afield at Kauai Shorts Festival, Bloomington Playwrights Project,Minnesota Fringe, Great Salt Lake Fringe and Melbourne Fringe. He is an author and show biz historian whose work has appeared in The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, The Washington Post,Los Angeles magazine, Westways, AAA TourBooks, The Best Men’s Monologues of 2021, and other publications. Jordan’s books include Spike Jones Off the Record, Reel Characters, Acting Solo,The Beckett Actor, and Roman Polanski: Behind the Scenes of His Classic Early Films.He made his Hollywood Fringe debut with a three-minute play performed in the nude for a nude audience.
