Joanne Mosconi

Born and raised in NYC, Joanne Mosconi earned her B.A. in Drama from Hofstra University and her dual master’s degrees in Theater and English Education from New York University, which she completed by the age of 22. She directed and acted professionally in New York and performed Off- Broadway. She also worked as a teaching artist for seven years in Bronx and Queens public schools in addition to facilitating workshops throughout New York City. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2007, she has performed professionally in over fifteen productions and starred in short films.
Joanne has produced fifty plays and thirty four children shows. She has also directed over twenty shows since co-founding Pinocchio’s Playhouse, where she was the Co-Artistic Director. She also taught drama at the prestigious Brentwood School. She is proud to start her own children’s theater company: The Magic Mirror Theater which she will be bring to NYC soon. Joanne has also produced and directed the NYC Off Broadway premier of a play she co-wrote in September 2011.
