Desmond Devenish
Born in New York City, he studied acting and directing at Marymount Manhattan and film at NYU, while performing on Broadway in On the Waterfront.
He attended LA Film School and his thesis Split, was distributed by Shorts International.
His internationally awarded first feature, Misfortune, a gritty thriller shot in Tucson, is being distributed up by AMC Theatres and Netflix.
Devenish is the founder of Gunnison Galaxy, a creative collective, advancing inspiring original material and autonomy for the artist.
