Brenda Banda

Brenda Banda is Urban Theatre Movement’s co-founder and establishing artistic director (2010-2011). She has been acting for 21 years. She is an actress, playwright and director. Her last directing piece HANDBALL by Seth Zvi Rosenfeld, was produced at Summer Stage NYC (Central Park and Marcus Garvey Park) in 2014. The last time you might have seen Brenda on stage might have been with Playwright’s Arena’s THE HOTEL PLAY as Bel, directed by Jon Lawrence Rivera (P.A./Center Theatre Group). Brenda was also a member of THE VAULT, a satirical ensemble group based out of the Los Angeles Theatre Center (under the umbrella of the Latino Theatre Company).
