Michael David

Michael is a veteran of more than 300 stage productions as a director, producer, actor, playwright and designer. His directing credits include award-winning productions for Moving Arts in Los Angeles (“The Normal Child,” “Break of Day”) and more than a dozen plays for Paul Stein’s innovative and immersive “The Car Plays,” produced in association with Radar L.A., the Segerstrom Performing Arts Center and the La Jolla Playhouse.

As a producer, Michael helmed the groundbreaking “This Ain’t Your Mama’s Cabaret” at The Court Theatre, “Jake’s Women” for Huntington Beach Playhouse and “Damn Yankees” for San Jose Musical Theatre, among many other productions throughout California.

Michael has written 13 full-length plays and is a recipient of the Max K. Lerner Playwriting Fellowship.

He is also the voice of Henrietta Hippo at Chuck E. Cheese’s.
