Stephanie Matsuba
Stephanie Mitsuko Matsuba is a Haitian-Japanese actress, tech entrepreneur, filmmaker and mental health speaker. As an artist she has written and acted in a variety of projects, most recently acting in the Netflix film ‘The Perfect Find’ to premiere in 2023. Stephanie lives with bipolar disorder, and as a mental health speaker she focuses on topics that drive dialogue about cultural identity & mental health in historically marginalized communities. This year, Stephanie is premiering a one woman stage play titled “HYPOMANIC” a piece she wrote based on her personal experiences living with bipolar disorder. Stephanie shares her personal experiences and management of her illness as a way to provide permission, if needed, for others to feel empowered to learn more about the management of their own mental health.
