George is an engaging, warm storyteller, and the story is not only hilarious, but full of rich details that left me empathizing with his story but also identifying how much of it truly resonated with me. A 90's fever dream (in more ways than one), this story is fun, engaging, and George really doesn't hold back in telling his story.... full review

The Book That Won't Close- Confessions of A Love Addict

TL is a powerhouse performer -- not only that, she takes her vulnerabilities and lays it all out for us to observe as an audience. And even then, her story relates more closely to me as someone working toward finding my identity than I ever could have imagined. Keep the book open and keep exploring. Great job!... full review

Absolutely hysterical and also strikingly profound, this show is worth a watch (or two or three). Even with Veronica's journey being different than my own, I found myself engaged with how relatable this journey is to me, but in entirely different ways.... full review

I was blown away by this show. Not only was it incredible but it was extremely relatable as someone who often struggles with identity. Slick, thoughtful, funny, and poignant, this show is truly for everyone who is (or maybe even isn't) explore their own identity -- in fact, some may say it's...VERSATILE (*wink*) for many different audiences.... full review

No Matter Watt - The Musical!

I have seen this show grow a lot over the past year, from many changes, from the failures to successes, and overall, this show, while ambitious and maybe a little loose and unpolished (it is Fringe after all!), has some great moments that will become even better in time and with the chance to expand the work into a longer piece.... full review

I was absolutely enamored by this show. The performers were absolutely incredible, and the staging was above and beyond anything I ever expected. The choreography of the set and props with actors leaves so much to the imagination while also creating a realistic world in a fantastical setting. The character arcs are strong, and the music is well done (and even often, dare I say, adorable at times). I absolutely didn't want it to end.... full review

GATSBY an Immersive Illumination - Chapter 1: East Egg

What a load of fun! This show, in its short runtime, manages to pack a punch. As someone who has never read Gatsby or seen any of the film adaptations, I was able to follow pretty clearly the storyline and pick up on many thematic elements, stemming from the more obvious (such as touching on topics of classism and opportunity) to the more subtle, intricate balances of other topics that my be inferred. The refreshments were fun, but rotating through the space, interactions with performers, and ... full review

Clever and smartly written, the vignettes range from laugh out loud funny (third piece) to a perfect cringe factor contextually provided with thorough wit and social commentary (first piece) that create a hopeful perspective to guide and enhance the way in which we view our world.... full review
