Nicole Marcus

Nicole Marcus is an L.A. based drummer, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer. She holds a Bachelor’s degree with honors in Studio Music and Jazz drum set performance from the University of Miami Frost School of Music. After college, Nicole moved to New York City where she was the drummer in the original Off-Broadway Cast of “Dear Edwina.” In addition to playing drums for other artists, Nicole started performing her original music around the city, singing and playing guitar in various venues. She then moved to Los Angeles where she played drums, guitar, keyboards and percussion in the first season of the T.V. show, “Glee” and played guitar with the cast on “Oprah.” 2013 took her around the US, Canada and Tokyo playing drums in the International Tour of HAIR (dir. Diane Paulus). Upon returning from tour, Nicole went in the studio and recorded her first album. The album, produced by Fernando Perdomo and mixed and mastered by Grammy award winning, Zach Ziskin, is a self-titled EP of music that she wrote, sang and played all the instruments on. It debuted in the iTunes Top 10 Singer/Songwriter EPs and the Amazon Top 10 Hot New Releases. She is currently performing around Los Angeles in support of the album and drumming with many other artists as well. Recent composing/production credits include scoring a scene in the web series, Words With Girls, and composing an original song for the Hollywood Fringe Festival play, The Load-In. She is a proud endorser of Pearl Drums, Sabian Cymbals, SilverFox Drumsticks and Humes & Berg Cases.
