Cynthia Glucksman

Cynthia Glucksman is a member of the Dramatist Guild, Alliance of Los Angeles Playwrights, Shakespeare Association of America, The Road Theatre Company, and the Popular Culture Association of America.

Cynthia’s plays have been performed and read in Los Angeles, New York, Alaska, Santa Cruz, CA, Omaha, and San Jose, CA.
Recent theatrical credits include “Defending Against Eros” (Hollywood Fringe 2010, playwright, actor), “An Incurable Hole” (Road Signs Series, playwright), “Anti-Bride” (Road Summer Play Festival, playwright), “The Butcher of Baraboo” (Road Theatre Co., crew).

Cynthia has presented academic research in dramatic arts and her plays at the Comparative Drama Conference, the Popular Culture of America Association’s annual conference, the Last Frontier Theatre Conference, the Great Plains Theatre Conference, and the CSU Creative Works Symposium.

She holds an M.A. in English and Playwriting from California State University, Northridge. Cynthia teaches English Composition and Literature at California State University, Northridge, Los Angeles Valley College, and Los Angeles Pierce College.
