Gia Ryan

Transgender performance artist, Gia Ryan, has been winning various talent shows since the age of four. She continued performing and training as a dancer at Glendale Community College. A current member of The Fanatix Dance Company & Fiasco Dance Crew specializing in styles ranging from Jazz to African and Hip Hop to Ballet; Gia can be seen performing throughout the Los Angeles club scene including: Lexington, The Palms, The Key Club, The Avalon, Aqua Lounge, Level 3, The Highlands, House of Blues, El Cid, Club Eleven, Here Lounge, M-Bar, Krave: Las Vegas, Skinny’s, Universal City Walk, Magicopolis, Club Arena, Zanzibar, The Other Door, The Wiltern, The Other Door,, El Portal, Serra’s Dine&Dance, Hamburger Mary’s, ClubShine: Oxwood and Club Aura. Along with dance, Gia is also featured acting and singing in productions:12th Night, All In The Timing, Birthday of The Infanta, Canterbury Tales, HAIR, Imaginary Cuckold, Nightmare Before Christmas, The Nutcracker Ballet, Oklahoma, Pericles, Puberty Fairy, Waiting for Lefty, and West Side Story. Gia is also associated with affiliations including: Malibu Coast Chamber Ballet, No Signal Dance Co., The Drumline of Pacoima, Powerhouse Show Choir, Blackbird Dance Co. and Valkeryie Theatre of Dance, Films, and Drama. Other Credits consist of: Outfest Film Festival, CBS News-48 Hours, MTV-U, El Portal Theatre, Logo, Staples Center, Spectrum Dance L.A. FOX TV, NBC and entertainment for organizations like: The Gay & Lesbian Center, CityX1, LifeWorks, The Royal Court of West Hollywood. Gia spends her life offstage by also volunteering for these organizations, most recently with The Human Rights Campaign.
