Celeste Klaus

Celeste was born without cable in the suburbs outside Detroit. While the cool kids watched Nickelodeon, Celeste became obsessed with Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It was the gateway drug to a television addiction she’d never break. She went on to earn her Bachelor’s in Film Production from Grand Valley State University and her Master of Fine Arts in Writing and Producing for Television from Loyola Marymount University. She has since worked as the writers’ assistant on the USA/Fox 21 series “Rush,” the writers’ PA on the upcoming USA series “Mr. Robot,” and is currently the writers’ assistant on the Netflix original series “Narcos.”

She’s also a Film Independent/LMU Incubator Lab fellow and is balls deep in the process of co-creating a web series under the Racekar Studios banner.

In her spare time, she enjoys cuddling with her puppy, stalking Taylor Swift on Twitter, and apparently writing short plays.
