Stage Against the Machine is a 501©(3) “pay what you can” theater company who gives 30% of what we raise to a chosen charity – for every show!
Meaning:
We set no ticket price. Ever. We live on donations, gifts, fundraisers, generosity and the kindness of strangers. We dream of a time & place where good live theater is easily accessible to the entire community, and oh yeah – we’re on a mission to change the world for the better.
For every performance we do, 30% of our donations go directly to charity. We believe in giving back and paying it forward.
Stage Against the Machine is also committed to paying actors who work for us (a novel idea), and that’s because we want to nurture the art and artists who truly strive to make a difference in their work.
