San-Francisco-based playwright/actor Jeremy Julian Greco wrote The Thrilling Adventureof Elvis in Space and The Thrilling Adventures of Elvis in Space II: Elvis Rex. Both premiered at the San Francisco Fringe Festival and, for six consecutive weeks, broadcasted on Pirate Cat Radio. Developed over the past four years, Greco has performed excerpts of With Held at Ever Gold Gallery, Tell it on Tuesday, Monday Night at the Marsh, CounterPulse, Salon San Carlos and the Marin Fringe Festival, where Greco won a Critics’ Circle Best Actor Award. With Held was shown in its entirety at the 2013 San Francisco Fringe Festival, the 2014 Rouge Festival in Fresno and as part of the Marsh Rising Series, October 15, 2014 at the Marsh Theater in San Francisco.
