Jim Dailakis

I’m an Australian Greek actor/writer/comedian has been touring the USA for the last 15 years headlining in major comedy clubs including Caroline’s, Stand Up New York, Broadway and The Laugh Factory all in New York City. I’ve also performed at The Borgata in Atlantic City and 44 of the United States.
I headline worldwide as a standup comedian in Australia, the Cayman Islands, the UK and all across Canada. I was on a 53 city tour across Canada in 2000+ seat theaters. I also headline and perform for English-speaking Greek communities around the world.
I’ve been blessed to have shared a stage and worked with the likes of Jerry Seinfeld, Larry the Cable Guy, Kevin Nealon, Carolyn Rhea, The Temptations, Aretha Franklin and Weird Al Yankovic, Jake Johansen and performed alongside Brad Garrett from Everybody Loves Raymond in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand. Since my arrival in the US, I’ve appeared in TV commercials as well as having performed a lot of voiceovers in radio and television.
I recently played a role in the independent award winning movies Mona and Broadway’s Finest. He had a supporting role in the movie Uncle Melvin’s Apartment and played the role of a Greek immigrant in New York in the film, This Is Reality and most recently in the TV series A Crime to Remember.
I’m working on several feature films that I’ve written as vehicles for myself including All My Friends Are Getting Married which has a sales agent already in place. I have a one-man show called “SKITSO!” where I play over 35 original and celebrity characters. The start date for the sneak preview was March 18-19, 2014, Tuesday and Wednesday at Stage 72 Triad Theater in New York City at 7 PM. Charles Messina is directing. The project has attracted the attention of Broadway a producer who is now at the helm.
On stage, I talk about relationships, love and mimic movie stars and contort my face so that I can look like them too.
