I made my living as a stand-up comic for 10+ years, traveling all over the country staying in hotels that boasted of “clean beds,” and “heated rooms.” The last year I did it full time I was away from my own clean bed for 30 weeks. When my first daughter was born I decided I didn’t want to be on the road anymore, was a stay-at-home dad for 7 of the best years of my life. I now realize that I have a lot more to say than, “Hey, put that down…because I said so…and if your friends jumped off a bridge would you jump off a bridge.” So I’ve written a one-man show entitled, “Based On A True Story,” it’s a procrastinator’s journey to getting things done.
