David Fury

David Fury (Director) —

Directed Elin Hampton’s Casey 229 for ALAP’s last Fringe production “Sex, Lies and Social Media.” He was a co-founder and artistic director for the Manhattan Punch Line Theater’s resident comedy troupe BRAIN TRUST, and directed many of their revues in New York and LA, including Mental Cruelty, Senti-Mental Cruelty and MonuMental Cruelty at the formerly named Tamarind Theater (now UCB). He’s also produced and/or directed plays at the Greenway Arts Alliance (The Bells of West 87th), Theater 6470 (Eat at Joes), and the Hudson Guild Theater (Mommy! Mommy! the Musical… Musical). Best known as a writer/producer for numerous television series, including Lost, Fringe and 24, he’s directed episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel and Alias (2nd Unit). He’s currently an Executive Producer on the FX drama series Tyrant and on the upcoming Fox Television series The Frankenstein Code.
