Christopher Murray
Christopher Murray is honored and delighted to participate in the Hollywood Fringe Festival, especially in the company of such an adept wordsmith as Steve Julian. Born in Hollywood and representing the third generation of a family of show folk, Mr. Murray made his film debut as a Photo News Aid in ALL THE PRESIDENT’S MEN, then went on to featured roles in JUST CAUSE, THE PELICAN BRIEF, DANTE’S PEAK, VIRTUOSITY, SMOKIN’ ACES, CROSSING OVER, THE MAN, SEE YOU IN THE MORNING and ROUTE 9. Television audiences may recognize him as Nick Newport, Sr. on PARKS AND RECREATION or as Dean Rivers on Nickelodeon’s ZOEY 101, and he has appeared in episodes of MAD MEN, SCANDAL, SAVING GRACE, THE WEST WING, 24, J.A.G., THE AGENCY, PROFILER, BUDDY FARO, CROSSING JORDAN, 7TH HEAVEN and MURDER, SHE WROTE.
Trained in New York with Wynn Handman and Herbert Berghoff, Mr. Murray has appeared on stage at the Ahmanson Theater in A PATRIOT FOR ME, and THE BEST MAN, at the Mark Taper Forum in CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF and several other New York City and regional venues.
