Reading the title of this show might make you think of self deprecating humor, which it is just that, but Lanessa is a master at it. Fringe is the perfect audience for this show as most of us are, or have been, in her stage of life. Having just finished 4 years of art school, Lanessa questions what she will do for the rest of her life, with a musical throughline. Savage Love is poetic, tender, and beautiful. Like watching emotional alchemy. Wonderful combination of art forms creating a picture of limitless words. Outstanding performance by Adam Navas as you experience the transitions of a relationship with him, and majestic choreography by Sarah Polednak which illuminates the narrators imagination.
