As a teenager on the South Shore of Massachusetts, Patty would hitchhike into Boston and secretly take classes at the Actors Workshop in Kenmore Square. That led her to NYC where she attended both the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Her coaches included Lee Strasberg, Charlie Laughton, Penny Allen, Elaine Aiken, and Susan Batson. She went on to do several off-off-Broadway shows. In 1983 she was awarded the Theatre of Renewal Award given by the late writer and drama critic Norman Charles. She was an original member of Machine Full theatre company founded by Tom Gilroy, Michael Imperioli, and Lili Taylor. In the early 90’s she moved to L.A. and began work with The Open Fist Theatre Company. In 1999 she founded her production company Lost Siblings Productions which works focus on the Working Class, Addiction, and those less fortunate. Her original plays The Happiest Man on Death Row, Bagwells, Snapshots, and The Birches played to full houses each night. She is wicked excited to be a part of the 2026 Hollywood Fringe Festival.
