Laurel Preston is a recent transplant in Los Angeles from her home state of Iowa. After graduating from the University of Iowa with her degree in theatre, she decided to move to California to pursue her love of acting. She grew up in the theater, her favorite shows being Shrek: The Musical (Fiona), Stupid Fucking Bird (Emma) and Into the Woods (Narrator). Which means she doesn’t just act, but sing and dance as well. Having extensive training throughout her college career as well as after graduation, her most prominent teachers were Mary Mayo and Carolyn Clay. Outside of acting, Laurel loves to bake, tend to her plants and play with her cat, Poe.
