Juliano (Joo-lee-AH-no) DeLugo was raised in a family of athletes and artists. Rebellious and hyperactive as a kid, his family naturally steered him toward American football, where he thrived. At 13, he was in a mandatory middle school Christmas play and promptly forgot his lines, standing frozen center stage. When the audience laughed, he laughed with them—an unexpected moment that sparked his first curiosity about acting. But he eventually forgot about it and just continued playing sports.
And it wasn’t until 19 that he remembered, and chose to try and follow the artist side of his family and began studying the Meisner Technique at the William Esper Studio in New York. Since then, Juliano has been driven by a deep passion for people and a curiosity about what it means to be human. The Resurrectionists Play is officially his first Play ever performing.
