Adrianne Duncan

Pianist, vocalist and composer ADRIANNE DUNCAN began playing the piano at the age of six. The daughter of renowned classical guitarist Charles Duncan, Adrianne attended Northwestern University on a music scholarship and is the winner of numerous awards and piano competitions. She has performed and recorded with some of Atlanta, LA, New York and Chicago’s most noted musicians and in multiple capacities: as a solo artist, in a duo, with chamber groups, in jazz ensembles and as a soloist with an orchestra. Her original compositions pair lush chord progressions with spare, evocative lyrics; also an accomplished arranger, she infuses pop and rock tunes with jazz harmonies and brings her own complex sounds to contemporary sentiments. Her piano playing has been heard on National Public Radio and the soundtracks to feature films, and she has performed for such luminaries as President Clinton and Stevie Wonder.
