Maybelline is pretty, witty, and funny- but that’s her burden to carry.
Like Hannah Montana, she lives a double life as a rising arts producer by day and an award-winning artist by night.
Her one-woman comedy cabaret, ‘Maybelline is in her Slut Era’, debuted to a sold-out season at the 2025 Adelaide Fringe, recognised for her ‘whip-smart‘ comedy. She kicked off her artistic journey in the prestigious ‘Class of Cabaret’ at the 2018 Adelaide Cabaret Festival, and has since performed original work with Australian Theatre for Young People, Hayes Theatre Co., and Contemporary Asian Australian Performance. She was also a 2024–2025 artist-in-residence at Shopfront Arts Co-op and is regularly featured on Sydney’s comedy circuit.
A creative powerhouse both 9–5 and 5–9, currently Maybelline is the Associate Producer at Sydney Festival, she brings the “Art of Summer” to life each January. Known for her commitment to diversity, accessibility, and sustainability, Maybelline also serves on Create NSW’s Festivals Artform Board, is a Youth Advisory Board member at ATYP, and a Diversity Arts Australia Storycaster. She was recognised as one of Adelaide Festival Centre’s ‘50 Stories’ in ‘Celebrating 50 Years’, for her passion and contribution to South Australia’s arts scene.
