Yuwen Yang
Playwright, Director, Producer
Yuwen Yang is currently completing his B.S. degrees in Theatre & Drama and Mathematics at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He works as a director, playwright, and stage manager, and his artistic practice centers on multilingual, cross-cultural storytelling that bridges language, identity, and embodied expression. His recent directing credits include Almost, Maine (2023), Musical Fanletter(2024), and Her Rage (2025). He also works as the stage and technical management with Madison Opera, University Opera, University Theatre, Aranya Theatre Festival, China Children’s Art Theatre, and Drum Tower West Theatre.
