Fernanda Tapia, a Nicaraguan-born filmmaker and comedian, is a student at the prestigious USC School of Cinematic Arts, specializing in filmmaking and comedy. A former professional dancer turned stand-up comedian, Fernanda combines performance artistry with comedic storytelling to create impactful films. Her award-winning mockumentary, Loli, a DACA Mockumentary, was accepted into 16 film festivals and earned four awards. Her Solo Performance “Always a Dancer” was nominated for Best Solo at the 30 Minutes or Less Festival. Fernanda’s work reflects her passion for crafting stories that inspire change while resonating with audiences.
