Rochée Jeffrey (she/her) is a versatile, award-winning writer, director, and performer originally from Jamaica. She has written on hit TV series such as SMILF (Showtime), WOKE (Hulu), and grown-ish (freeform), where she served as co-executive producer. Currently, Rochee is developing an adult animated series for Netflix starring Lizzo and a dramedy series produced with Megan Thee Stallion and Jay-Z. Her films have been featured at over 40 festivals, including Beyond Fest, Austin Film Festival, Fantastic Fest, and Palm Springs ShortsFest. She also wrote the Oscar-qualifying short film SUITABLE, which appeared on HBO. Rochée also co-created, co-wrote, and directed the NAACP Image Award-winning narrative podcast YES WE CANNABIS starring Sam Richardson, Richard Kind, Rachel Dratch, Tichina Arnold, and Method Man. A talented performer, she has appeared in short films like BALDWIN BEAUTY and THE FLACALTA EFFECT. On the stand-up front, she’s auditioned for Netflix is a Joke and JFL (r.i.p.) and performed at the New York Comedy Festival. She’s currently touring with her solo show, THE TROLL.
