I am a public educator and former actor with a degree from UCLA’s school of theater, looking to bring my experience of telling stories to the stage. I am passionate about folklore and the oral tradition, and passionate about the connections those kinds of stories foster. As such, in a world of practically unlimited screens, I am extremely interested in stories you could see your quirkiest family member tell around a fireside.
I teach 8th grade English to phone addicted teens in South Central; but more than English, I teach young adults how to think, feel, and emphasize.
