Sarah J. Eagen is an Actor, TV Writer, and Producer. With a degree in Neuroscience, her nerdy side was especially thrilled to be part of television history when she was cast in THE BIG BANG THEORY, the longest-running multi-cam show to date.
Additional acting TV credits include CBS’s RUSH HOUR and Lifetime’s MY CRAZY EX. She worked as Script Coordinator for the FATAL ATTRACTION TV series at Paramount and was recently tapped to write a fantasy vertical series. Her original play Bottled Up premiered during 14/48 Hollywood in 2024. She was head writer on the sci-fi audio drama THE VEIL from Voxx Studios, and on the educational children’s show WHAT’S YOUR PROBLEM from Generation Genius. She’s currently embarking on an exciting new chapter: writing her first novel.
After years in front of the camera and behind the keyboard, she’s excited to return to her first love – live theatre – in Shannon Corbeil’s hilarious new stage play. She’s performed on stages across the country, from the Midwest to Seattle to Los Angeles. She holds a BA in Theatre, has trained with acclaimed coaches including Annie Grindlay, Gary Austin, and Steven Anderson, and she studied in Dublin’s Gaiety School of Acting conservatory program. With dozens of theatre credits, a deep love for musical theatre, and over a decade of experience as a dance choreographer, the stage remains her creative homebase.
Sarah is also passionate about empowering young voices. She’s been a weekly mentor with WriteGirl for several years, guiding teens in Los Angeles as they explore their creativity through writing. She also served on the Board and Leadership Team of Hollywood Heart, a nonprofit bringing arts education to underserved youth and those impacted by HIV/AIDS, where she taught writing workshops at yearly summer camps.
