Candice Clasby

Candice M. Clasby is a Currently pursuing her MFA in Production for Theatre, Film & Television at CSULA. She is Graduate of California State University, Fullerton with a B.A. in Theatre Arts: Directing. Most recently she has worked as a choreographer and assistant Director for charity organization RVLS.C.O.R.E. on the production Hairspray. Other Credits include: RVLS.C.O.R.E.’s Oliver, and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory. South Bay Center for the Arts: RENT and Godspell. Almost Maine, and Original Work: My Sorrows to Stones, at The Hunger Artists Theatre Company. Scrooge, and All Shook Up at Buena Park Youth Theatre, among others.

Performance Credits include:The Great American Trailer Park Musical (Lin) at Stages Theatre OC, Cabaret (Sally Bowles) at The Hunger Artists Theatre Company, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (Ginger) and The Sound of Music (Baroness) at Huntington Beach Playhouse, and Smokey Joe’s Café at NTAC.

She is so very excited to be back in the Directors’ seat bringing her vision to this New Work beautifully written by Randee Trabitz!

She is a member of two theatre companies in Los Angeles, CTA: Theatre Project as well as the Recession Theatre Collective which is a culmination of the 1st year MFA students at CSULA. The play The Good, being showcased at HOLLYWOOD FRINGE this year was sprung from RTC’s first In Rep Season at CSULA.
