Born in Atlanta, GA, and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, JP Brown moved to Los Angeles in 2008, and started comedy in 2013.

JP. quickly became a stand-out regular on the club scene, entertaining audiences with his vast array of voices, characters, and stories of being a Video Gamer, as well as his thoughts on dating & relationship memes, toxic masculine “bros”, traveling, racism, “talking white”, people who say “Back in my day…”, and dark holidays.

JP Brown has been seen at the Hollywood Improv, The Comedy Store, and the Ice House. He has also recently performed at the Sonoma Laughfest, the Ventura Harbor Comedy Festival, Laughs Unlimited in Sacramento, The Comedy Palace and Mad House Comedy Club in San Diego, Loonee’s Comedy Corner in Colorado Springs, the World Series Of Comedy in Las Vegas in 2016 and 2017, the 2018 Maumee Mary & Joseph Comedy Festival in Fort Wayne, IN, the 2019 Antelope Valley Comedy Festival in Lancaster, CA, and the 2021 North Carolina Comedy Festival.
