Kristelle Zibara (she/her)

Actor/Writer/Director

Kristelle Zibara is a Lebanese/Australian Performer, Director and Writer hailing from sunny Sydney. Since 2016, she has flown back and forth to Los Angeles to study and perform Improv at “The Groundlings Theatre and School", as well as various writing/performance classes with “Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB)”,  “The Second City” (R.I.P).

 

Growing up in Musical Theatre gave Kristelle a strong passion for the stage, performing in plays such as "My Father’s Left Testicle (Mustardseed Productions), “Trojan Barbie” (Sydney Fringe Festival), and most recently in playing the lead role of “Fatima” in James Elazzi’s MainStage production, “Queen Fatima”, Directed by Paige Rattray (Sydney Festival). As an actor and singer, she has also performed in various Musicals and Touring Shows.

 

She has Co-Created, Co-Written and Directed 4x versions of the Feminist Comedy Show, “Tough Titties”, as well as performing Character Improv and Drag in the last 2 productions. The latest version of Tough Titties” being the headlining show of the two week Feminist Festival that Kristelle Co-Produced, called “Femeraki”.

 

Kristelle’s Film & TV, projects include “10 Seconds”, created for TedXSydney Film Festival 2022 (Lead Actor & Writer), an upcoming original TV series in pre-production with Sweet As Entertainment (SAE), called “Urban Animals” (Lead Actor & Co-Writer), and a brand new unnamed Australian TV series (Lead Actor & Co-Writer).

 

Kristelle became a recipient of the “Groundlings/SNL (Saturday Night Live) Award” in 2022, where she was awarded classes, personal coaching at “The Groundlings”, and the opportunity to send an audition tape to Saturday Night Live.

 

Born in quarantine, her original character “Pamela” (a talkative, froggy-voiced aussie with a heart as big as the outback) has performed in various spaces, this one-woman show being the premiere of her story in long form.

 

Being an overachiever at heart, Kristelle is also currently performing in a sketch show for Hollywood Fringe, titled “Only Weirdos in the Building”.
