Tom Avery (they/them) is a multi-hyphenate performing artist based in Los Angeles. Tom is a fierce advocate for the cultivation of honest, fresh and affirming expressions of queer representation in media. They’ve performed extensively in musical theatre, most recently in the critically acclaimed production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch at The Chance Theatre in Anaheim. Other credits: Miss Step (Village Theatre), Newsies (Paramount Theatre), Heavyhead (New Jersey Theatre Center). BA in Theatre and American Studies from Northwestern University.
Tom is also a singer-songwriter, currently working on their debut EP. Their debut singles “Sugar” and “Ophelia” are out now, listen everywhere you get your music. 🤍
