This was a magnificent performance by Arthur. To be taken on a most magical journey through the years of black revues-the words do not come easy. It was a powerful performance by an actor well aware of his instrument and how to bring his audience into his world. The history of black musicals or theatre for that matter is not often told & Arthur does it with love, knowledge, skill and passion. It is above & beyond-A must see!...

It took my breath away and then gave me new breadth. The ensemble was pitch perfect-from the beginning they took me on a ride and never let me go. The ability to harness silence before releasing/giving it away is not an easy task & they did it with a fervor power. It is my favorite piece of fringe and is a Must See! It was powerful and I shall not be forgetting the feeling it gave me, taught me, gave me cause for pause a long while. Cheers to Sam & Samantha for creating work that was alive and br...

Courtney is amazing! From the moment we sat down we were taken in with Poofy. There was a startling power of stillness at moments and then all of a sudden a grand physical explosion would occur. She has the great ability to draw in her audience into her world. She is a fantastic clown & quite original & unexpected. GO see Poofy and her vulnerable self bring you out of yourself and into her world. ...

This was a surprise piece for me. I found it to be a beautiful examination on the women who loved Picasso. It had beautiful moments of lyrical movement and complete commitment from the actors onstage. It also gives one a history lesson and another perspective on one of the most talented artist that has ever lived. The actress who played Olga is fire. Go see this work!...

What can I say! It was a terrific show. I laughed and wanted to play. I am a most serious being and this show took me outside myself and brought me back to the basics of theatre. It was two people onstage giving everything they had while executing grandeur skills. Amica is beyond flexible and what her and David create together onstage is quite beautiful. The moment the balloon popped and Amica begins to cry well I must say that was one of the highlights of the piece for me--there was something so...

There is much to be said about unspoken pains. They can live within us for so long that they become a part of our daily being. Rebecca Ryland and her beautiful cast share this work with no holding back and what happens is an awakening. We find through laughter we are able to release the pain and oh freeing that is! Cheers to the actresses for sharing a piece of themselves with us....

The show began with music from Tracy Chapman and for me that was already a clue that the work would be truth. I was not let down. Faith began as a small child and the women she goes onto share with us give us many revelations of what it means to be a woman that comes from many women who all have difficulties living. Her unflinching commitment to these women leaves one no choice but to go on this hilarious, painful, honest & unknown ride. Sometimes the pain is easier than the anger or forgiving. F...

This show brought honest work. It was a pleasure to see the actors just bare themselves onstage. Marc Scheibmeir gave a physical performance that was a delight to see. A gal also gave a quite hilarious monologue that had me laughing so hard. Cheers to the work!...
