John Matthews in “Our American Tragedy” serves as Nick Roy’s Hollywood Fringe Debut. Before moving Westward, Nick studied theatre at East Stroudsburg University, commanding roles such as The Stage Manager in “Our Town, and “Danforth” in the Crucible. After which he moved to New York and had the honor of starring in an off-broadway production, “A Therapy Session With Myself” as well as LGBTQIA+ renditions of classic works like Eugene Oneill’s “Thirst”, and Moliere’s “The Pretentious Young Ladies”. Since his move to LA last summer, Nick wrote and directed a one act play as part of Conundrum’s New Works Festival and directed a 10-minute play as part of Hollywood’s Short+Sweet Festival. He’s ecstatic to take stage once again and bring these historic moments to life.
