Mike Spara

Performance Experience

Mike Spara has performed with college, international, and professional theater companies. He was a founding member of Impulse Control at Catholic University, a company member of both the Heritage Theater Company and Synetic Theater in Washington, D.C., a founding member of Stupid Time Machine, and has performed in short films, silent Shakespeare adaptations, and car commercials.

Training Experience

Mike has trained with the mime/movement/adaptation program of Synetic Theater in Washington, DC, ComedySportz Virginia, American University and Howard University student film productions, undergraduate and graduate performance workshops at Catholic University, and extensive improv/sketch workshops with The New Movement, Second City, the Gulf Coast Comedy Festival, and the DC Comedy Festival, among others.

Mike Spara has been performing on stage, camera, in museum displays and alleyways for the past thirteen years. He’s a founding member of Stupid Time Machine, and has been performing their brand of improv/sketch weekly for the past two years in New Orleans. He is excited about meeting your parents.
