Cybelle Kaehler (she/hers)

Director/Producer

Cybelle Kaehler (she/hers) recently graduated from UC Irvine with degrees in Drama and Film and Media Studies, with a minor in digital filmmaking. Cybelle strives to tell meaningful stories centered on women and other marginalized groups, often focusing on social issues. She has directed and written several plays and short films. At UCI, she was co-president of Brick Theatre Company, a student collective focused on LGBTQ+ works. This summer, she worked as an assistant director and crew member of the New Swan Shakespeare Festival. Her latest short film, Tombé, recently premiered at the California Women’s Film Festival, the Cordillera International Film Festival and won Best Student Film at the Los Angeles Cinema Festival of Hollywood. She loves directing, filmmaking, singing, writing, acting, and everything in between! In her free time she enjoys hiking, podcasting, radio DJing, songwriting, dancing, and playing Dungeons and Dragons.
