Ebony Rattle

ebony rattle (they/them) is a queer, disabled, neurodiverse multidisciplinary artist exploring intersectional themes of queerness and disability through experimental performance art.

previous shows as writer/director include winona (2023 hollywood fringe festival, the butterfly club, 2022 melbourne fringe festival, live works festival of experimental art), ring, ring! (2021, theatre works, australia), blitz (2019, melbourne fringe festival).

ebony has recently been mentored by esteemed queer theater director adena jacobs through the midsumma festival pathways program for lgbtqia+ artists living with disability and incredible pioneering transgender playwright jo clifford. 

additionally, ebony is a touring sound engineer for theater and contemporary/classical music and a passionate disability advocate and works freelance as an access consultant for the performing arts.

ebony is a proud member of the media, entertainment and arts alliance (meaa) (australia).
