Suzana Selamat

Trained at the Haque Centre of Acting and Creativity (Singapore), home of Method Acting in Asia, Suzana performed in musical events such as Kabaret Singapura, Love: The HCAC Fundraiser, and KeyNote’s Equity in Action in Singapore. She also played the lead, Sarah, in the horror student film, Maghrib. Now in L.A., she took a Writing & Performative Workshop through EWP Arts Education which culminated in the showcase, Kwentos of My Barrio. She was also a part of the Nexus Festival 2022 where she played multiple roles in the staged reading of Halo-Halo. She was awarded the East-West Players Scholarship to attend the Solo Performance Workshop. She was awarded the Hollywood Fringe (HFF) scholarship for 2023. At the HFF ’23, her solo piece We Are Nothing Without Hantu-Hantu was nominated for Best International Show and Soaring Solo Social Impact Award.
