Ariel Zucker

Ariel Zucker (she/they) is an LA-based writer, director, producer and former Hebrew School teacher from Atlanta. They believe the most important stories are the ones we are most afraid to tell. Ariel is currently a 2022 Gotham TV Expanding Communities Fellow, season producer at College Humor Media, and the Technical Director at Hovercast. In 2017 Ariel earned a B.F.A. in Directing from the John Wells Directing Program at Carnegie Mellon University. Their directorial work and writing has since been recognized by Outfest, AT&T Film Awards (New Forms of Storytelling), Screencraft Playwright Competition (Special Mention), Huffington Post, NBC Out, Parade, Glamour UK, Hollywood Reporter, People, Afropunk and Variety. She recently won the Best Experimental Film Award at Women’s Voices Now Film Festival and is a PGA Innovation Award Finalist.
