Stephanie Trudeau
I’m a mid career actress/singer/writer. I wrote and perform a one-woman cabaret show about an iconic queer Mexican singer, chavela Vargas. I enact Chavela in English and sing her ranchera songs in Spanish. I won a 2020 NYC Bistro Award for Outstanding Tribute Performance. I performed at the 2022 Edinburgh Festival Fringe and received a terrific review. I also have a short film about my show that is currently screening at film festivals (Borrego Springs in January.)
